GC Europe (EMA)

Responsible for managing the European Master’s Programme in Human Rights and Democratisation (EMA), based in Venice and across EMA Member Universities throughout Europe.

EMA Programme Director

Dr Orla Ní Cheallacháin is the EMA Programme Director. She is responsible for the strategic development, coordination and implementation of the EMA programme as well as its daily operational management and overall academic coordination.

EMA Fellow

Dr. Inge Zwart assists with the daily organisation of the EMA programme, provides student support, teaches academic and research skills, and is responsible for the rolling seminar on the Philosophy of Human Rights.

EMA Fellow

Dr. Judit Villena Rodó earned a PhD at the University of Galway, Ireland. She was a Visiting Researcher with the Graduate Program at Harvard Law School during the Spring semester of 2023.

EMA Executive Officer

Having worked for the Global Campus in various capacities since 2008, Elisabetta Zennaro liaises with EMA professors and students on matters related to meetings, certificates, and academic records.​

Martina Urbinati liaises with students regarding certificates, inquiries about the EMA Programme’s structure, and other administrative procedures, ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of the academic environment.
