Daniela La Mattina

E-Learning Executive Officer

Daniela La Mattina is responsible for the preparation, implementation and evaluation of e-learning activities.

Daniela develops learner-centred courses and materials that use a variety of technologies, including gamification, digital collaboration, Scenario Based Learning and big data. She joined the E-Learning Department in 2022 after having worked as EMA Executive Officer for 4 years, liaising with students and the University of Padua concerning certificates, logistics and administrative issues. 

Prior to joining the Global Campus, Daniela spent three years at Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna in Pisa promoting social mobility in education. She also previously worked in the field of democracy support at the European Parliament, the International Institute for Democracy and Electoral Assistance and the Italian Embassy in the Republic of Congo.

Daniela holds a Master’s degree in International Relations from the University of Bologna, a post-graduate MA in Human Rights and Conflict Management from Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna and a Master’s degree in open education, social and mobile learning from the University of Florence.
