Working together with the UN Development Programme and with support from the European Union, the Global Campus has launched a coordination unit to advance human rights education in the country through curriculum development, international mobility opportunities, training and networking initiatives for students and faculty members.
The 2025 edition of the Global Classroom on Business and Human Rights is about to begin in Bangkok, hosted by the Institute of Human Rights and Peace Studies of Mahidol University, the Global Campus Asia-Pacific (APMA) coordinator. Around 20 selected Global Campus students and recent graduates have been working on the complex intersection between business, the environment, and human rights, focusing on violations that often cross borders and regions while human rights advocacy tends to remain localised.
Like every year our global academic network is glad to join the United Nations campaign for Human Rights Day. On 2025, we will be part specifically of the “Everyday Essentials” edition to bridge the gap between human rights and our everyday experiences. Because human rights aren’t just ideals; they are the essentials we rely on every day.
The Frontex Consultative Forum on Fundamental Rights organised the seminar “Ensuring fundamental rights compliant screening in the context of the implementation of the EU Migration and Asylum Pact” in Venice on 15 October 2025 hosted by the Global Campus of Human Rights.
