On 13 and 14 December, the 2024/25 cohort of EMA students organised the EMA Human Rights Film Festival 2024 to conclude the year. This year’s edition focused on the theme of children’s resilience in migration, offering a moving view of the challenges they face and the strengths they exhibit.

The Global Campus Alumni Mentoring Programme connects alumni seeking to advance their human rights careers with professionals volunteering to mentor them. Over six months, mentees receive tailored guidance to achieve their goals, while mentors share their knowledge and experience.

Organised in partnership with the authorities of Montenegro, the event focused on exploring challenges and opportunities to build digital resilience, with a special focus on the role of youth.

The publication is both a record of these impactful workshops and a valuable resource for human rights defenders, activists, and anyone engaged in advocacy and social change.

As the Global Campus prepares for the next round of internships, the achievements of the 2023-2024 cohort set a high standard.

The Global Campus of Human Rights recently published the Policy Briefs 2024 following the successful completion of the 6th edition of the Global Campus Policy Observatory, which revolved around the research project on ‘The digitalisation of education systems and its impact on human rights, with particular attention to the right to education’ .

As part of the growing emphasis of the Global Campus of Human Rights on the value of its alumni network, the Global Campus Alumni (GCA) recently organised their largest three-day event in years in Athens, Greece.

As much as we are grateful that this opportunity has allowed us to connect with a variety of human rights actors and reflect on emerging issues, we would much rather use it as a call for action to every individual both within the Forum’s confines and beyond.
