As the Global Campus prepares for the next round of internships, the achievements of the 2023-2024 cohort set a high standard.

The Global Campus of Human Rights recently published the Policy Briefs 2024 following the successful completion of the 6th edition of the Global Campus Policy Observatory, which revolved around the research project on ‘The digitalisation of education systems and its impact on human rights, with particular attention to the right to education’ .

As part of the growing emphasis of the Global Campus of Human Rights on the value of its alumni network, the Global Campus Alumni (GCA) recently organised their largest three-day event in years in Athens, Greece.

As much as we are grateful that this opportunity has allowed us to connect with a variety of human rights actors and reflect on emerging issues, we would much rather use it as a call for action to every individual both within the Forum’s confines and beyond.

The delegation was composed of alumni who are already working in Geneva, and others who came from other regions specifically for the event.

Cláudia Aguirre, 2022 alumna of the GC Europe Master’s programme (EMA), and Carolina Muzzillo, 2021 alumna of the GC South East Europe Master’s programme (ERMA), joined the  EU-NGO Forum and shared with us energetic accounts of their participation.

The program, made possible by the Global Campus’s extensive network, exposes interns to a myriad of human rights topics, including child rights, women’s rights, refugee protection, legal case management, climate change, and migration.

The Lisbon Forum was an invaluable platform for connecting with individuals dedicated to addressing climate change and economic crimes.
