The Global Campus of Human Rights is excited to launch its first-ever Microlearning Course on Human Dignity and Human Rights, a compelling e-learning journey into one of the most powerful concepts at the heart of human rights.

The Venice School for Human Rights Defenders is a Global Campus flagship annual gathering dedicated to empowering activists, advocates, and changemakers with innovative strategies, tools, and networks. Through immersive workshops, expert lectures, and collaborative sessions, the programme fosters a dynamic environment for learning and solidarity among those working on the frontlines of human rights defence.

The students of the Master’s Programme in Human Rights and Democratisation in Latin America and the Caribbean recently had the opportunity to engage with Soledad Vallejos—an Argentine journalist, writer, and feminist activist.

On 6 May 2025, on the occasion of a convening of the Global Campus Council, Elena Ippoliti, Coordinator of the Human Rights Education Unit of the Office of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, joined us for an exchange on the future of human rights education. The event served as an opportunity to renew our long-standing partnership with the OHCHR across education, research, and engagement with students and young graduates.

The Global Campus has successfully completed a number of transformative faculty exchanges across its regional Master’s programs, advancing its mission to strengthen human rights education through shared expertise and pedagogical innovation. This is a vibrant example of our cross-regional collaboration.
